Play Date

So Emmie made a new friend on Sunday. His name is Fred. His mommy Amy works with Steph. Fred and Emmie got along great. There was running and chasing and lots of sniffing. Both puppies went home very very tired.

Thanksgiving

We are so thankful for Emmie. This has been a very blessed year. Steph and Chris bought their first home. Michelle came to live with them and then we got Emmie.

So we figured it would be a good idea to tire Emmie out before she met Chris' parents for the first time. Chris took Emmie on an hour long walk to Falls Township park. We didn't go to the dog park because there wouldn't be time for a bath if Emmie found another mud puddle. Upon meeting Chris' parents Emmie was very excited and jumped up a bit but she settled quickly and was very well behaved during dinner. And dinner was wonderful, btw.

Nov 23- New Bed

Today Emmie received a new dog bed. It is a cover made by Bow Wow Beds on Etsy, and then stuffed with standard size pillows. It didn't take Emmie long to try it out.

Nov 21- a very dirty puppy

So Steph and Michelle discovered the one downside to the dog park. When it rains, it gets muddy, and Emmie loves mud puddles. She found a nice big puddle and settled right in. She even tried to tempt other dogs into the mess with her. Luckily Steph and Michelle had walked to the park because she was filthy. Once home she got a nice warm bath.

Nov 10th- Dog Park

So Emmie has found her new favorite playground. The Falls Township dog park. The park is great. There are two separate fenced in areas. One little dogs and one for the over 35lb variety. The big dog area has a 6 foot fence so there is very little chance of escape, but who would want to.

These are pictures from Emmie's second trip. We were the first ones there but then after a while lots more puppies showed up to play with Emmie. She had a blast and we stayed for nearly 2 hours. She was very independent and was well behaved with the other doggies. She was very tired that night after a long day of running.
